The Hangout is a place for fathers to talk how they talk. Vent, curse, be real. Some topics hit hard, so give each other grace.
Not allowed
- Racism and hate against anyone's race, religion, nationality, sexuality, gender or disability.
- Bullying or attacking another father. Disagree all you want, but don't go after the person.
- Threats or violence against anyone, including the other parent.
- Private details: children's names, the other parent's name, addresses, phone numbers or case numbers.
- Sexual content, spam, scams or selling.
How it's enforced
- Tap Report on any message that breaks these rules. Messages with several reports are pulled for review.
- Posts with hate slurs are held automatically and never go public on their own.
- DMF can delete any message, and can block a person's account and phone from posting again.
If you're struggling
If a post sounds like someone may be in danger, it's kept private and sent to the DMF founder. If that's you, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), any time. If anyone is in danger right now, call 911.
